Aerification

We just wrapped up our first hollow tine aerification on the new greens. Tomorrow, we’ll be brushing in and adding extra sand to any areas that need a little more attention. We’ll also be applying fertilizer and fungicide to help the greens recover and prepare for the increased humidity expected later this week.

As a reminder, recovery from aerification typically takes 2-3 weeks. During that time, you’ll notice more frequent topdressing and slower than normal green speeds as we focus on helping the turf heal properly.
