Drainage Installation

We are just about to begin a small, but important, drainage project on our golf course. As a golf course matures, areas can develop that are slow to drain, and in extreme circumstances, don’t drain at all. Over the next several weeks we will be installing drainage in several areas on the golf course. These are areas that, generally, are not an issue; but with heavy irrigation cycles, or rain, tend to hold water longer than we would like.

Currently we have areas on 4, 7, and 9 slated for drainage installation. Drainage issues will be rectified by either agressive aerification and topdressing, or actual installation of drainage pipe.
