I want to provide you with an update regarding the uncovered wire splices that you may have noticed on holes 8, 18, and the practice facility.
Our irrigation system is made up of six wires that connect various parts of the golf course, with one of these wires serving holes 11, 12, 13, and 17. Unfortunately, this wire has developed a ground fault somewhere between hole 8 green and the 18 tee. We have used our in-house locating equipment, and we have also sought assistance from outside resources to pinpoint the exact issue.
Thankfully, we have been able to continue irrigating the four affected holes by working around this issue. While the fault is being worked on, our team is collaborating with Rainbird and other resources to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
We understand that the uncovered wire splices may be concerning, but we want to reassure you that there is no risk of electrocution in these areas. All wires are low voltage, and as an added precaution, we have disconnected them from their power source.
We are getting closer to identifying and fixing the problem, so we appreciate your patience during this process. We will continue to work diligently to resolve the situation and thank you for your understanding.
Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
