Weeds

Following last week’s rain and the recent warmer temperatures, you may have noticed an increase in weed growth throughout the desert areas of the course. The combination of rain and heat has created the perfect conditions for weed germination, which is a common occurrence this time of year.

To manage this, our spray technician is actively treating the affected areas with herbicide daily. You may see certain areas marked with blue dye—this indicates they have already been sprayed. If possible, please try to avoid driving through these treated areas to help minimize tracking the herbicide into the rough.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the course and catch up on weed growth. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
