Week 21

Before we get to the video, I’d like to give a brief status update on the renovation:

  • With the exception of the driving range tees, the entire golf course and practice area have been grassed.

  • In an effort to encourage lateral Bermudagrass growth we are drastically dropping mowing heights on the back 9 fairways. You will notice slightly off color fairways and rough in the Week 21 video. This is by design.

  • While the weeds on holes 1-3 and 5-7 are seemingly out of control, this is apart of the process and something that will naturally work its way out throughout the grow in process. Any weeds that remain in late September will be chemically eradicated, when the Bermudagrass is mature enough to undergo such an application.
